Technical products still have to be understood in a minute

Storage, solar and efficiency products are bought over months by people comparing specifications they only half understand. The site's job is to make the technical case readable without making it dishonest.

Delivered in this sector

Real projects, linked. Nothing on this page is stock sector copy.

The problem

What energy sites get backwards

Four patterns that cost this sector enquiries.

  1. Specifications instead of explanation

A table of kWh, depth of discharge and round-trip efficiency with nothing telling the reader what it means for their house or their plant. Lead with the outcome, keep the full specification one scroll below for the people who want it.

  2. Nobody knows who installs it

If you sell through installers, dealers or partners, the single most common unanswered question is who near me can fit this. A searchable network — even a simple one — removes the biggest objection on the site.

  3. Incentive and rebate content goes stale

Programmes, tax credits and utility rebates change. A page that confidently quotes a rate that expired last year does more damage than having no page. Date-stamp it, structure it, and put a review reminder on it.

  4. No path for a six-month decision

A visitor who is twelve weeks from buying gets the same single Contact us button as someone ready to sign. A sizing tool, a specification download or a comparison guide gives the early-stage visitor a reason to identify themselves.

Energy FAQs

What people ask us first

The questions that come up on nearly every call in this sector, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

Ask us something else

How much technical detail belongs on a product page?

All of it — but layered. The first screen answers what it does and who it is for in plain language. Below that sits the full specification table, certifications and datasheets for the engineer or installer who needs them. Writing only for one of those two readers loses the other.

Can you build an installer or dealer locator?

Yes. For a modest network a filterable, searchable list by region performs better than a map and is far cheaper to maintain. For larger networks we add geographic search against your partner records. Either way the partner data is structured content your team edits, not a hard-coded page.

We sell in several countries. How should that be handled?

With separate localised sections and correct hreflang annotation, so each market's content is served and indexed properly rather than one page trying to speak to everyone. Pricing, certification and incentive content are usually the parts that genuinely differ, and those are worth doing properly per market.

Who keeps the rebate and incentive pages accurate?

You own the facts, we own the mechanism. We structure those pages so each claim has a visible last-reviewed date, and our care plan puts a scheduled review in the calendar. What we will not do is write a figure we cannot source.

Explain your product to us in two minutes

If we can repeat it back accurately, we can build the page. If we cannot, that is the real finding.
