Fitness & Wellness

A landing page built for paid traffic

IronSculpt Fitness is a fitness and wellness brand. We designed a single-purpose landing page, with the conversion decisions made against real traffic.

The challenge

What this site had to get right

Fitness offers are bought on impulse and compared in seconds. The page has one job — make the offer, the price and the next step unmistakable — and it usually arrives from paid traffic, so every bit of load time is money.

Sites in this sector all have to get the same few things right before they can do anything else. These are the ones that shaped this build.

  • Pricing is hidden behind a form

The thinking is that a conversation sells better. In practice most people close the tab and go to the studio that published its rates. Publish a range at minimum, and gate only the things that genuinely need a conversation.

  • The schedule is an iframe from the booking system

Different fonts, different colours, a scrollbar inside a scrollbar, and unreadable on a phone. The schedule is one of the two most-visited things on your site. It deserves to be designed, not embedded and forgotten.

  • The trial offer is a banner, not a path

A free week has to be a page with its own URL, its own copy, and one action. That is what you point ads, flyers and Instagram at. A homepage banner cannot be measured and cannot be optimised.

Approach

How we worked through it

The same four stages on every project, including this one.

  1. 01

    Understand the buying decision

Before any design, we work out who lands on the site, what they are comparing, and what has to be true for them to make contact. That conversation decides the page structure.

  2. 02

    Structure before styling

Templates, content model and URL map first. Deciding what repeats — and who edits it — is what keeps the site cheap to run two years after launch.

  3. 03

    Design against the constraints

Type, colour and layout are chosen with contrast, mobile width and load weight already in scope, so nothing has to be unpicked during build.

  4. 04

    Build, measure, hand over

Semantic HTML, a performance budget, accessibility checks, analytics configured, and a handover the client's own team can work from.

What we built

The work that shipped

  • Landing Page Design
  • Conversion Optimization
  • Landing Page Design

A single-purpose page designed around one conversion, with the offer, proof and form above the decision point and nothing competing with it.

  • Conversion Optimization

Form, copy and layout decisions made against the behaviour of the traffic the page already receives, rather than against taste.

Results

On publishing results

We publish a number only when we have the client's analytics in front of us and permission to share it. For this project we have neither yet, so there are no numbers on this page.

Stack

What it runs on

Every site we ship is held to the same baseline regardless of platform: a 1.4 second average largest contentful paint, a Lighthouse performance score of 95 or better, and WCAG 2.2 AA checks on the components we build.
